The UN Special Rapporteur on unilateral coercive measures (or sanctions) made a global request for evidence on their effects on humanitarian action. Given that sanctions against Nicaragua are having a considerable effect on the government’s humanitarian work, Nicaragua Solidarity Coalition, a member of the SanctionsKill campaign, made a submission to the inquiry.
